1. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting or using any service provided by AltaVista Holiday Lighting (“AltaVista,” “we,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please refrain from booking or using our services.

2. Scope of Services

AltaVista provides professional holiday lighting and décor services, including design, installation, maintenance, takedown, and optional storage of lighting products.
The exact scope of work, materials used, and pricing will be communicated to the customer before any installation begins.

3. Pricing & Payment

Base pricing may vary depending on home size, roof complexity, décor selections, and installation difficulty.
Final pricing will be confirmed on-site or after reviewing photos/measurements.
Payment is due in full upon completion of the installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept cash, check, and all major credit/debit cards.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when requesting an estimate.

  • Ensure the property is accessible on the scheduled installation date.

  • Notify AltaVista of any hazards, loose roof shingles, electrical issues, or obstacles that may affect installation.

  • Provide accessible and functional outdoor electrical outlets for lighting operation.

5. Service Quality & Satisfaction

We take pride in delivering high-quality, professional installations.
If any issues arise—such as loose lights, outages, or adjustments—customers should contact us within 48 hours and we will correct the issue at no additional cost.

6. Maintenance

During the holiday season, AltaVista provides free maintenance for equipment we installed.
This includes replacing failed bulbs, securing loose strands, and resolving electrical issues related to our setup.

7. Takedown & Storage

Takedown is included in all seasonal packages unless otherwise specified.
If the customer chooses the lease model, AltaVista owns and stores all lighting products.
If the customer has purchased the lights, we will pack them neatly for client storage unless a storage plan is purchased.

8. Liability

AltaVista is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing roof or property damage

  • Electrical issues unrelated to our installation

  • Interference or damage caused by weather, animals, or third parties

However, we will take all reasonable precautions to ensure a safe and careful installation.
AltaVista carries general liability insurance to protect against accidental installation-related damage caused by our team.

9. Privacy & Personal Information

AltaVista respects your privacy and handles personal information only for scheduling, communication, and service delivery.
We do not sell or share customer information.

10. Changes to Terms

AltaVista may update these Terms of Service at any time.
Customers will be notified of significant updates.
Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any revised terms.
